The only beef that I've ever had with Ducati is the cost of parts. I don't think they'll ever rival the Japanese in terms of reliability, but they are built so much better now than they ever have been. Now, having bought a brand new 821, after 2 years - not a scratch on it. If money is no object go for it - modern electronics are a game changer - but you’re likely to drop it, so don’t take loan. The seats will get really hot. I plan to ride the bike for daily commute, which means a lot of slow riding and wait in traffic.
